Hyundai Auto Plaza, a leading automobile company in Ghana has made another mark in its 5-year Anti-Malaria Campaign with a clean-up exercise at Teshie in Accra. The exercise, which typified the company’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, began with a launch at Alisa Hotel in Ridge. As part of the activities for the second phase of the campaign, Hyundai donated two mobile clinic vehicles to the Ministry of Health at the Alisa Hotel in Accra several months ago.

Continuing in the second phase, Hyundai will organise clean-up exercises in four communities in Accra: Nima, Teshie, Jamestown and Chorkor. These communities will also benefit from mass spraying, a donation of 500 mosquitoes nets, 500 footballs and Hyundai branded t-shirts. Also members of the communities will be educated on the disadvantages of malaria. After Accra, the campaign will also be moved to Koforidua and then to Cape Coast. There will also be donations of educational materials such as books to selected basic schools.
